Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania

Day 3: Machame Gate (1,790m) to Machame Camp (3,010m)

Your Kilimanjaro journey begins through rainforest terrain, filled with lush greenery and the sounds of monkeys and birds.

Day 4: Machame Camp to Shira Camp (3,845m)

Day 10: Relax at Chemka Hot Springs

Recover and unwind at the warm, turquoise waters of Chemka Hot Springs. Swim, enjoy a picnic, and explore local villages.

Day 11: Relaxation at Chemka Hot Springs & Transfer to Arusha

After a rejuvenating sleep and hearty breakfast at your Moshi hotel, your morning is free to relax, repack, and enjoy the mountain views one last time. Around 11 AM, your guide will pick you up for a cultural walk around Moshi town , including a visit to the bustling local market and some historical spots that offer insights into the region’s unique blend of Chagga and Swahili influences.

Later in the day, you’ll head towards the Chemka Hot Springs , a hidden geothermal oasis located near Boma Ng’ombe in the Hai District. As you arrive, take a local tuk-tuk ride through banana groves and dusty village paths until you reach the turquoise waters of this natural spring. Take a dip, let the warm mineral-rich waters soothe your muscles, and enjoy playful fish nibbling gently at your feet. After swimming and relaxing, you’ll journey onward to Arusha where you’ll check in at your accommodation and prepare for the safari leg of your adventure.

Day 12: Tarangire National Park – Walking Safari & Game Drive

Today, your African safari officially begins. After breakfast, drive toward Tarangire National Park, a wildlife gem known for its rolling savannah, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. Upon arrival, start with a guided walking safari alongside an armed ranger. This immersive experience brings you up close to the smaller details of the bush, tracking footprints, identifying plants, and spotting animals from ground level.

Afterward, enjoy a traditional game drive. Tarangire’s river valley draws countless animals, including wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, and predators like lions and leopards, especially during the dry season. By late afternoon, you’ll check in at your stunning tented lodge perched on the escarpment.

Day 13: Cultural Visit with the Hadzabe & Lake Eyasi Exploration

After an early breakfast, you’ll head toward the Lake Eyasi region, home to the Hadzabe tribe, the last hunter-gatherers of Tanzania. Arrive in time to join a morning hunt using traditional bows and arrows. The Hadzabe will guide you through the bush, demonstrating ancient skills and survival techniques passed down for generations.

Later, visit a Datoga blacksmith village and witness how tools and jewelry are forged from scrap metals. Depending on the pace of the day, you may also hike around nearby waterfalls or explore the shores of Lake Eyasi. By evening, return to your nearby lodge nestled in the highlands.

Day 14: Ngorongoro Crater – Game Viewing in the “Garden of Eden”

Wake early for a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most iconic natural wonders in Africa. Formed from a collapsed volcano, the crater is a sanctuary for over 30,000 animals in a compact ecosystem, including rhinos, elephants, hippos, and prides of lions. Your full-day game drive will include stops near Lake Magadi, frequented by flamingos and other birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your exploration in the afternoon. Later, return to your high-altitude lodge overlooking the crater rim.

Day 15: Journey to Central Serengeti – Afternoon Game Drive

After breakfast, begin your scenic drive toward the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive is breathtaking, as plains unfold endlessly before you. You’ll stop for lunch en route and arrive in the Seronera region in the afternoon, known for its concentration of big cats and year-round wildlife.

Upon arrival, you’ll embark on a game drive through the central plains where leopards nap in sausage trees, and lion prides roam freely across the savannah.

Day 16: Full Day in Central Serengeti

Explore the Sogore River Circuit and Maasai Kopjes, hotspots for lion activity and cheetah sightings. You’ll visit the Seronera Visitor Center, where you can learn about the park’s ecology and enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch. In the afternoon, continue with game viewing in different parts of the central Serengeti before returning to your lodge for dinner under the stars.

Day 17: Serengeti North – Great Migration Tracking

After breakfast, begin your journey north through the Serengeti en route to the Kogatende region, following the trail of the Great Wildebeest Migration. Along the way, game drives will reveal giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and possibly a dramatic river crossing.

By late afternoon, you’ll reach your tented camp, set near the Mara River, a strategic location for viewing the herds as they brave crocodile-filled waters in search of fresh grazing grounds.

Day 18: Full-Day Migration Safari in Northern Serengeti

Aside from the migration spectacle, enjoy sightings of elephants, topis, lions, and leopards within this lush and rugged section of the park. Have a picnic lunch in the bush and return to camp in time for a sunset drink and dinner.

Day 19: Flight to Zanzibar – Stone Town Arrival

After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive en route to the Kogatende airstrip. Board your scheduled flight to Zanzibar, transitioning from the bush to the beach.

Upon landing, your local guide will welcome you and transfer you to a charming hotel in Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a casual stroll through winding alleys, old markets, and historical sites before dinner.

Days 20–24: Beach Bliss in Nungwi, Zanzibar
