Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy some relaxation or a brief city orientation. Overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge or similar.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is known for its large herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and seasonal swamps that attract a range of wildlife. Overnight near Lake Manyara.
Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
Journey via the Ngorongoro Highlands into the endless plains of Serengeti. Enjoy a game drive en route before arriving at your camp in the central Serengeti for dinner and overnight
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the day exploring the central Serengeti. Optionally, begin your day with a hot air balloon safari. Visit the Seronera River and kopjes, key areas for spotting lions, cheetahs, and elephants.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Start with a final game drive before heading to Ngorongoro. On the way, visit a Maasai village and immerse yourself in their traditional lifestyle. Overnight at the crater rim.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Eyasi
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Later, transfer to Lake Eyasi, a remote area rich in indigenous cultures. Dinner and overnight with stunning lake views.
Day 7: Hadzabe Cultural Experience – Return to Arusha
Spend the morning with the Hadzabe tribe and witness their hunting skills and daily rituals. Visit the Datoga blacksmiths before returning to Arusha, concluding your cultural adventure.
