Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart from Arusha and journey toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Known as a natural wildlife sanctuary, the crater floor supports a remarkable diversity of animals including herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffaloes, elands, hippos, and elephants. The area is also rich in predators such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and occasionally leopards. Your safari will include a visit to Lake Magadi, a shallow soda lake in the crater, often dotted with flamingos and other water birds. After an incredible day of wildlife viewing, ascend from the crater and drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Central Serengeti
<p>After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the highland landscapes of Karatu and the lush forests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend into the endless plains of the Serengeti, you'll be entering one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife habitats. Arrive in the Seronera region, the heart of the Serengeti, in time for lunch. This area is renowned for its dense population of wildlife, thanks to the Seronera River that provides a year-round water source. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of lions, elephants, leopards, and other wildlife before heading to your tented camp for the night.</p>

Day 3: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Migration Focus)
After breakfast, you’ll travel north toward the Kogatende region, where the excitement of the Great Migration intensifies. Between July and October, the Mara River becomes the center of dramatic wildlife action, as thousands of wildebeest and zebras attempt the dangerous crossing, often stalked by crocodiles and predators. Game drives in this region offer excellent chances to witness this extraordinary event. Beyond the migration, Northern Serengeti is a spectacular place to see resident wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and raw nature at its best. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and continue exploring the region in the afternoon before settling into your comfortable riverside camp.

Day 4: Full-Day Migration Safari – Northern Serengeti
Today is dedicated to exploring the Mara River region on a full-day game drive. With luck, you may witness herds gathering at the river’s edge and braving the crocodile-filled waters. The Wagakuria area is known for its high density of wildlife even outside the migration period, making for an action-packed safari regardless of the timing. The scenic landscape includes rocky kopjes, open savannas, woodlands, and riverbanks that offer a habitat for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other plains game. You’ll enjoy a packed lunch in the wild before continuing your adventure through this stunning part of the Serengeti.

Day 5: Northern Serengeti – Arusha (Fly Out)
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning and then transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your scenic flight back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you can connect to your international departure or extend your journey with a beach holiday in Zanzibar.
